LCLa Calabaza Dance AI
Guide

Can I make the La Calabaza dance with my dog?

Yes. The same "My pet ×3" mode that makes three dancing cats makes three dancing dogs: upload one whole-body photo of your dog and all three dancers become your dog with the same coat and markings, round glasses on the left, cowboy hat in the middle, bare on the right. Dogs are the second most popular La Calabaza variation after cats, and because many dogs already sit upright for the camera, their photos often work on the first try.

Dog photos that work

  • Sitting or standing, facing the camera, whole body in frame
  • Ears and face clearly visible — no harness hiding the chest if you can avoid it
  • Daylight or bright indoor light, no motion blur
  • One dog per photo

Breeds and what to expect

Small and medium breeds with upright ears (corgis, frenchies, chihuahuas, shibas) read instantly as cartoon dancers. Large breeds work too but look funniest when the photo is slightly from above. Very fluffy dogs keep their shape; dark coats need good lighting so the markings survive across all three copies.

Dog and cat together?

The current mode copies one pet three times. If you want your dog and your cat in one video, make two videos and stitch them in CapCut or TikTok's editor. A mixed-pet mode is on the list if the trend keeps running.

Cost and time

Same as cats: one free 5-second preview, then $3.99 for the first full 10-second video, $4.99 after, HD $7.99, three for $11.99. About 5 minutes per video.

FAQ

Does the cowboy hat fit a dog?
Yes. The props are placed on whichever pet is in each position: glasses left, hat middle, none right.
My dog is lying down in every photo. Will it work?
Usually, but a sitting photo gives a more convincing stand-up. Try the free preview first.
Can I use a puppy photo?
Yes, as long as the whole body is visible and the photo is at least 512 px.
